Get help

For most operational issues during an event, the fastest channel is inside the App. Email is best for account or installation problems. Privacy requests have their own dedicated address.

For any operational issue during an event. Pick the right sub-type so your message reaches the right team:

  • Technical — iPad / app problems → Tech team in your city
  • Logistics — supplies, room setup, missing items → Coordinator (TCA) & Administrator
  • Administrative — escalations, candidate issues, policy questions → Coordinator (TCA) & Administrator

Replies arrive as push notifications and inside the same Broadcast thread.

Please include:

  • Your registered email (the one you sign in with)
  • A brief description of the problem
  • A screenshot, if possible
  • Your iOS version and iPhone / iPad model

I'm a new staff member — how do I sign up?

Open the App, enter your work email and a password you'll remember, then tap the green Sign Up button. The App creates your account automatically and assigns you the default Proctor role with no city.

Your Administrator must then assign your real role and city via the Manage Users screen before you'll see the full set of menus. Send your Administrator your registered email so they can find your account.

I forgot my password.

There is no self-service password reset in the current build. Email your Administrator or contact my2komait@gmail.com — they will reset it server-side and provide you with a temporary password.

Can I change my email address?

No. Your email is the immutable identifier for your account, permanently bound to your records (attendance, broadcasts, inventory custody).

You can change your Display Name any time from the profile menu → Edit Profile; the email itself is fixed.

I signed up but I can only see a few menu items.

That's the default state for a brand-new account: Proctor role, no city. Your Administrator needs to update your access profile via Manage Users → Edit Access.

Once they save, sign out and back in — your full menu will appear.

My check-in scan didn't work.

Generate a new QR — codes are valid for only 15 seconds, and older codes are rejected by design.

If the common-use iPad's camera doesn't see your code, ask your Coordinator (TCA) or Helper to manually correct your attendance for the day via All Proctors Attendance Summary → Edit.

The App says I'm offline but my Wi-Fi works.

myProctor needs a live connection to Firestore for all writes. If the venue's Wi-Fi is unstable, switch to mobile data.

The offline overlay clears automatically once connectivity returns; no data is lost — actions wait until you're back online.

How do I delete my account or my data?

Email my2komait@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request" and your registered email.

We will process the request subject to operational record-retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
